We’ve collaborated and refined the app’s UI/UX design together. Shakuro has created an elegant and user-friendly interface that is intuitive to our user base. Shakuro has launched a valuable feature for a broader platform, which is something we have wanted to do for a long time. Our in-house team has found Shakuro’s teamwork to be good quality when reviewing it. The team is responsive when bugs arise and provides continued improvement of the product. We’ve experienced minimum issues when executing the software, and the team has made the process enjoyable from start to finish.How did Shakuro perform from a project management standpoint?We’ve decided to elongate dates in some instances, and Shakuro has had minimal delays. The scope of the project grew upon previous discussions. Our communication occurs primarily via Zoom, Slack, email, and Figma. There is a sizable gap in time zones, and both parties have had to accommodate schedules in order to conduct live meetings, but we recognize it’s worthwhile in order to get the best outcome. Moreover, ensuring we have these meetings when there’s confusion has yielded the best outcomes and allowed us to solve problems quickly. We don’t tend to outsource work, and working with Shakuro feels like a collaboration between teams in different locations.Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?Eugene’s (Designer) work has been exceptional, Moses (Creative Producer) has done an incredible job throughout, Pavel (Project Manager) has been very detailed and thorough, and Alex (Account Executive) has been essential in ensuring our needs are met. These are just a few of the members but the entire Shakuro team is fantastic.Are there any areas they could improve?Shakuro’s communication could improve regarding proactiveness. I’m aware creativity isn’t something that works on a fixed schedule, and although communication happens regularly through passive means like Slack and Figma comments, active communication is tougher when dealing with different time zones. Although this hasn’t been problematic since we really enjoy Shakuro’s abilities and processes, there is a time zone difference beyond our control, and having more direct communication as complex features are addressed would help expedite solutions.Any advice for potential customers?Share your needs with Shakuro and prioritize what is critical for your project and for the process. When we first engaged with Shakuro, they understood what was needed from a social community, and we trusted their judgment. Shakuro does a phenomenal job at asking the right questions, and by understanding our needs, they’ve defined what needs to be created regarding UI/UX design.Shakuro has created a unique design for what our company is and where we want to go. Go into the process trusting Shakuro is an expert in UI/UX design, and ensure you understand what is necessary and what is negotiable in your product’s design. They always had a fast response time.What did you find most impressive about them?They were able to understand the full concept and bring it from just an idea to an actual product. It was impressive that they were able to bring it across the finish line.Other vendors said this project would be too difficult but Shakuro was able to pull it off. The product ties all of our ideas together and it’s very user-friendly. They got it right on the first try.Are there any areas they could improve?Initially, we had some issues with communicating with a particular account manager. There have also been a few surprises with billing since their pricing estimates weren’t big enough. It turned out to be manageable. The product itself is such high quality that we didn’t mind.Any advice for potential customers?My advice is to try them out and see how you like them. Give them a challenge to execute and take it from there. You can be confident that they’ll deliver quality work.</div>
