About the project
Symbolik is a product of the legendary Tom DeMark’s legacy and a thriving business carried by Mr. Tom DeMark and his successors. In the center of the Symbolik ecosystem lies the charting tool: a state-of-the-art solution on which traders base their decisions.
We were hired to redesign the entire ecosystem, build Symbolik Social network from scratch, and breathe a new life into the brand’s identity system.

Design philosophy
Knowledge is everywhere, you just need to be able to see it. The Symbolik vision is laser-focused on meaning and function of every element. There are levels to everything and the final picture depends on how deep you want to go into this fractal.

Logo design
The Symbolik logo is a reflection of the brand’s main principle: simplicity in form, and complexity in function. It is an icon consisting of upward and downward triangles. From a 3D perspective, it’s a price bar that becomes an “S” symbol if consisting of a transparent material.
Brand graphics
A significant part of the investment platform’s graphical language was taken from the chart workspace and indicator-inspired motifs. This approach was tested on multiple deliverables like a printed tri-fold, or a handbook concept.
Patterns
Trader’s success depends on their ability to analyze the past, read the patterns of the present, and predict the future based on that information. As chaotic as it seems, a trading chart is a meticulously crafted chronicle. In the brand graphics, we wanted the distribution of symbols to resemble a canvas that helps you see the bigger picture.
Merchandise
Symbolik is a tech company and like any tech company, it bears a certain corporate culture that we wanted to highlight. Physical items and merchandise felt like the right place to do so.
Illustrations
The logo dictated the angle at which we envisioned the brand graphics for the investment tool. This angle inspired us to create a set of isometric illustrations to cover the needs of the platform.
UI/UX design
A huge ongoing part of the work was concentrated on the Symbolik platform, of which the Chart is the core product. In several months, we were able to completely redesign the experience, and the product was launched in 2023. The charting tool keeps evolving and the brand keeps evolving with it.
Results
Symbolik is one of our most complicated technical projects and one of the design endeavours we are most proud of. The unique part of the brand is that it’s alive and it builds itself along the way. Our job is to channel that energy and provide a clear avenue for further brand development.

Social media
Symbolik is a very self-reliant brand. It produces its own content. It has a social network that any trader or investor could dream of. In that sense, we did not have to do a lot in order to create social media posting guidelines. Our effort on this front was marked with designing a system of graphical variables to used based on the message.
