Kostya

With many years of software development and project management under his belt, Kostya yearned for a working environment where software developers were highly motivated and were equally rewarded. In late 2006 he co-founded Shakuro, a company that was built upon the working principles of professionalism, ownership, and fun.

His tasks don't always go hand-in-hand with his role, however, he is responsible for client relations, project management, and if you ask nicely, he'll get you a cup of coffee :)

Vladimir

With over seven years of experience in cutting-edge software development, Vlad is Shakuro's other co-founder and an expert in all things technical. No project can be completed without his knowledge and review to ensure quality solutions.

When he's not drafting solutions or rolling up his sleeves for another development challenge, you might find him walking around with a huge backpack and an old sleeping bag somewhere in the hills around Sevastopol.

Sergey

Sergey was born to be a programmer. He has an authentic passion for programming and everything around it. He is one of the brightest development stars in the company and always aware of every new fact about web development.

And guess, what he does in his free time? That's right … he programs!

Roman

With a seemingly unlimited supply of energy, Roman's passions are too numerous to mention. As a designer he draws upon his endless supply of experiences to create visually stunning, and highly useful designs which are our trademark.

And yet, as a designer who creates such remarkably clean designs, he constantly surprises us with stories about how deep in mud he was in his latest downhill bike race.

Alexander

Everyone is born with a gift; Alex's is finding bugs where others see fully functioning software. He compliments this skill with the ability to rapidly provide solutions and implement fixes. He also serves to support Vlad in his quest for new and innovative ways to solve old, and new problems.

When he doesn't use his 'super power' to find bugs , Alex can be found behind the lens of a camera.

Yuri

Sometimes we think Yuri would rather sleep in our office than go home - his devotion to his work and to our clients is only matched by the number of bonuses our clients give him.

Together with Vlad he never misses a chance to conquer another mountain, and admire pure nature.

Oleg

Oleg moves Shakuro forward holding the Android flag. He fell in love with this platform, plunged deep into Android documentation, surrounded himself with Android devices, and now makes our customers happy developing cool Android apps.

As most every other Russian, Oleg enjoys playing balalaika while straddling his nuclear rocket, sharing vodka with his bear and feeling nostalgic about Perestroika.

Alexey

Alexey has a split personality. He can be calm, serious and totally focused on his work - so much so in fact, that sometimes only his fingers typing can help us realize that he is still alive This is Alexey at work.

The other side of Alexey is totally different. He refuses to just idle his time away and tries to enjoy every second of his life. He likes the sun, the sea and he can't seem to live without extreme sports and music.

Alexey

It doesn't matter how difficult the task is or how much information needs to be learnt in order to get it done, it's always surprisingly easy for Alexey to get familiar with the required information or new technology.

Being a member of the International Karate Association, every evening he takes his glasses off, puts on his colorful costume and flies out the window to defend the citizens of our town.

Michael

Michael spends his free time watching numerous seminars and reading tons of articles about project management, and therefore, he is continuously trying to bring a scientific approach to his work.

But his true passion is socializing with people. So do not be surprised that when having a discussion about your project, you'll also find yourself chatting about the clash of cultures, globalization or the possibility of life on Mars.

Sasha

Every single day a lot of beautiful minds all over the world fight against browsers' tricks and glitches in the name of cross-browser support. Sasha goes on the very front line of this epic battle, bringing his vast knowledge and huge desire to outperform his past achievements. With Sasha, every challenging task just makes him stronger.

However, he is an extremely pacific person who likes peace, labor and May … and his five-year-old all season sneakers.

Leonid

Leonid looks just like a normal guy when he's at work, but when he arrives home and switches his computer on, he immediately turns into the Legendary Almighty Invincible Lord of the computer games world. Put the best of the best in front of him and he will keep juggling them like skittles until they obey.

Such extraordinary skills in conjunction with two higher education degrees and an extensive expertise in programming make him a second-to-none person when it comes to iPhone/iPad games development.

Olya

Olya loves her husband and hates bugs - that's why her husband is happy and bugs are not.

It was obviously a lucky day for Shakuro when Olya joined us. Her well developed analytical skills, acute attention to details and natural intelligence makes her a perfect bug hunter and renders valuable assistance to our developers.

And of course, it's just a pure pleasure to work next to such a nice and cheerful person like Olya!

Sergey

A tremendous skill set, determination, and many years of experience make Sergey the Chuck Norris of a modern iOS development universe.

If iOS development was a martial art he'd be able to create ten already approved apps with just one roundhouse kick.

Max

As a lead designer, Max always impresses other people with his superb work, knowledge and leadership qualities as well as with his constant good mood and shape that make him shine like a star. Whatever task he is given, he returns with thoroughly finished job that we immediately want to add to portfolio even if it’s just a 4 px background.

He likes spending time with his friends, but only few of them know that he's the most beloved great-great- … grandson of Socrates.

Gleb

After graduating from Sevastopol University with honors, Gleb had a hard choice between becoming an iOS developer at Shakuro and a position of a big red button operator at the nearest nuclear power plant. Surprisingly, he chose Shakuro and left the big red button waiting for another victim.

Long evenings after work he enjoys endless conversations with an old lady who leases him a room about the latest time he should arrive home and whether it's humanly possible to jump inside his room without waking the sleeping flies which do not let the old lady sleep well.
