Shakuro now a happy user of a corporate version of Active Collab 2.1 (AC). It’s a really amazing project management tool and makes it really easy to collaborate between our clients, managers and developers.

AC may seem quite familiar for Basecamp addicts and others who use hosted project management tools, since it’s pretty similar. But there is a still a huge difference – AC becomes entirely yours after purchase. This means that you can host it where you want, you do not have to pay a fee every month, you do not have to spend months begging third-party development team to add a feature you can not live without, since you have all sources and can add/edit everything you want (that’s what we have already done).
